This has been sitting for years. I have power to and out of the relays. Up and down both relays close but nothing happens. I am thinking the motor is just bad from sitting for so long. Is it worth it to replace the motor? Looks like I would have to partially disassemble to gain access to the back screw to the motor. Anyone done this before with success?

There is an in line fuse that can trip or go bad. Could be bad ground. Did you try to jump the direct motor wires straight to battery? Some times trouble shooting a relay set up is tricky. There are several connections that could be bad. You can replace the whole pump unit. but I would start by hooking up pump directly to battery. If nothing happens then you know it is the pump.

Depending on how old the unit is and salt water use you will be better off not waisting time on it. Get a new Bob’s with the Mercury power trim, parts available at any Mercury dealer.
