I am always on the bluwater board and I was wondering if anyone any kind of info or help for me i would appreciate it more than you could know. I started a thread or two on there. Just if ya'll have anything helpfull.
My sister-in-law has lived on the big island since the 1970's and she is still considered an outsider by the locals. Hawaii is a nice place to visit and a good place for a second home but I wouldn't want to live there. Yes, fishing is good but beer is expensive. Yes, the climent is good but the locals don't like you. Yes, it is exciting when you get there but there is no place to go.
If you decide to go, I recommend that you not sell out here until you test drive Hawaii for at least a year.
