A&M not a real military school....
Some guy on the radio was saying that since A&M is not a real Military School yet they choose to wear the Military outfits, then other schools should follow suit and dress like Pirates.

You probably want to be careful with this one. Some of the friends and families of some of the Aggies that aren't coming back might take exception.

Seperation of a non military school and our U.S Military is easy to seperate. So if anyone is offended, sorry, but like say in my refference to the Army/aTm it was them not me nor my buddy.
I am saddened by all who give/gave and never make it back home.

Last I checked this is a Sports Forum. What the hell does whether A&M is a military school have anything to do with it?

To all those Aggies who are not 'military' but have committed for 4+ years in the Armed Forces, thank you for your service. And thank you for keeping our freedom of speech so that those who wish to always bad-mouth you, still have that freedom. And to those 'non-military' Aggies and their families who have given the ultimate, thank you and I salute you.
Many choose to try to insult - through just plain ignorance -those who have decided to give their all and protect. Without them, would you be able to type such nonsence?
PS-This is a football board. Keep it to football or go to the Jungle and I will be more than happy to discuss the freedoms 'non-military' Aggies have protected!

General Patton never seemed confused in comparing the ability of the Texas Aggies with that of West Point.

Just what do you mean when you said look at your reference to the Army/A&M game it was them not me nor my buddy?? I have tried to read and re-read that post several times and still do not understand what your intent with that comment was.
While there certainly are many more students than corps members today I think you are spltting hairs when you say it is a non-military school (unless you are just saying that all students at the school are military bound). Many of A&M's corp students go on to a military career as a direct result of their years at A&M. In my mine, that is good enough for me to say it is a military school. I would not say it is the same as Air Force or the others but it definetly is a school that produces military people. In fact Saturday I was talking to a friend of mine that graduated from A&M in 88. He spent time flying apache helo's in desert storm, Operation Enduring Freedom and just back from Iraq last month. I think he would beg to differ with you.

How many aTm students get there a say **** what do you mean this isnt Westpoint? lol As far as the "not me nor my buddy" comment, I was making sure that yall knew that it was a pissin match between aTm and Army.
