offer 18 or 19k and see what they say. Seems a little high for size and single motor. I went out with a guy on the board in his Wellcraft Coastal 264. It is a nice boat and is pretty much the same as that one. His handle on here is Coastal.

Double Hookup
We sold our 1996 238 CC about 3 months ago. Basically the same rig except center console with Tops and Towers T-Top, loaded, same engine Mercury 225 offshore carborated approx 350 hours. Did not have any trouble AT ALL with the engine or hull. She always ran great. Caught alot of good fish on her, and will sure miss her! She went for 17K. You may see her around Freeport "Double Hookup". The boat your looking at seems to be in good condition. I would be sure and test run it before you drop any $$. Should be able to get it for <20K.

I own a '98 240 Coastal, only mine has twin 150's instead of the single. I probably have a few more extras but I wouldn't sell mine for what they are asking. Depends on how despearate the seller is.

Actually, if you want to see how the boat does out in blue water, come on down during the middle of the week (nice weather) and I'll take you fishing. My weekends are busy. Bring plenty of gas money.

you also said it has lures and tackle. What kind of tackle. Senator style or international (gold) style? Are they talking about rods and reels even? It better be alot of $100 marlin lures if it is not international reels included in the price but I seriously doubt they are big into marlin with a boat of that class.

Nice LAKE boat, It really needs a second motor for off shore. This patricular marina usually has good value boats because many or most are bank repo's. Look closely, since repo boats tend to have hidden issues. Price should be negotiable unless the bank has overextended.
