I personally like Fuji BNLGs. They are inexpensive, low profile and I use them for everything from 2 to 50lb. Some say they wear with spectra braided lines but I have not personally seen this. If that is the case then I would consider NSGs but they are pricey.
I've used #12 BNLG and then 10, 8,8,6,6,6,6,6 BLG (fly guides) for "low profile"on 7' trout rods. You may have to use one or two extra #6, as they are low to the rod, but they are small and light. You can do the same thing w/ the titaniums if you're looking to go real light. Always buy a few extra guides and play w/ the static placement.
I have used the Fuji Concepts with Alconite rings lately. I really like the look of the CLNAG's and CUNAG's. They are pretty low profile so I end up with one extra.
fishngolf...really depends how much you are willing to spend. Agree with Doc & Goags on the BLNGs and don't think you will find that any of todays guides will wear with the use of braid line. As GetEmGot mentioned, personally prefer the Fuji Cocept Titanium Sic guides using the Spiral wrap placement. Have no idea of your rod building experience, so forgive me if you already know that you need to do static testing of guide placement rather than just putting the new guides in the previous position. The lower profile dictates different location.
