I like the Yellow Cotton Cabins in Hopedale/Buras. They are very clean, have kitchens, and the owners are very nice folks. There's a ramp right by it, and a carwash across the road a ways.

What does your guide recommend? Sweetwater Marina in Delacroix have rooms for rental. Are u launching from Hopedale or Delacroix? March should have some outstanding fishing.

Sweet water marina is awesome. They treated me like a king and put me on fish immediately. We averaged 6 sight castes reds/hour. Great fishing within 1 mile of ramp.

First time going there. Not sure where launching. He told me some places but I did not have pen and paper and his cell was cutting out.

Personally, if it was me, Ill want to fish Delacroix side. Get ready to pop a cork. Probably wont be a long trip since you'll get your limit pretty early unless some strong front barrels through.

Destination Delacroix Lodge

Been fishing Delacroix for the past 6 years. Great fishing. I have been staying with Freddy Dietz at Destination Delacroix Lodge. Just about everyone in Delacroix knows the man. He's been there for a long time. Right next door to Sweetwater. Also has places to keep your boat in the water.
