Yeah Baby!!!
Whew hew!!! Just found out I won our ranch deer hunt contest by bringing in the heaviest buck this season. He didn't have the biggest rack but he was the oldest and nastiest. "Show them what you won Bucksnort". Went and picked it up at lunch today.(sorry, just wanted to share my joy)

Was that the only winner or did the largest rack win something too? What was the buy-in or is that "part of the lease"?

Our lease leader wanted to do this. He bought the shotgun and offerred it up to the heaviest deer which usually means a mature buck. Last year there were a couple of "mistakes" and he didn't want to see anymore "mistakes" so he thought he would offer an incentive(the contest).
