snook Saturday Morning surf/Evening Jetty Report (Surfside)

Saturday morning my ladyfriend and I jumped out of bed at 5:30 am to try and catch the sunrise at Surfside beach. The water was not calm by any means but still fishable. Tried to get to the second bar but was too rough. So we fished from the 1st. Caught whiting and trout. Whiting ranged from 10" to a monster 20"er that i though was a red. The one keeper trout was 22". All caught on Gulp with a jighead.

That night we hit the jetties and fished for sharks with the fish parts from the mornings haul. Only managed a 26" bonnethead that sure did taste good last night.
