Okay....I gave Jan PLENTY of time to defend herself and start some smack of her own, but she hasn't shown yet.
Numbers were quite low.....4 keepers total from our boat. The guys near the bulk heads were catching a few, but no one was reeling in large numbers that I saw. Even though we didn't limit, I still had a good time on the water. Thanks Jan....you're a real trooper!
Well, you can't believe everything you read on TTMB ya know. After fishing at the GYB for a few hours with anchor boy and net girl, I made my way into the icy waters of the Galveston Channel to put the whammy on a limit of flatties to 23". Paddle tails were the weapon of choice and other than an occassional face washer from passing vessels, the afternoon was as perfect as it gets!
And then the phone rang and I woke up!
Had a great time with Miss Dixie and Floyunder Pounder (nephew Brett) bobbing around on Trudy's little tub. Thanks guys for going and yes, I did get a little stripe on me today but it was so worth it to be out there in the first place.

ok, i admit it might "look" little, but its carried many a big flatty in it, and it even has a flounder sticker on it
wish yall would have caught more, but im glad you got to get on the water any way. not to worry jan, ill get em for ya tomorrow
by the way, wheres the pictures? i know you must have taken at least one with brett and his flounder! tell him hi and i hope he gets to go again soon. we'll find em somewhere!
