A little boost

guys, I need a little boost this evening. I have to deal with something tough and could use some good thoughts and even a prayer or two to help me say and do the right things. no replies necessary.

I'm not sure what you're up against, but whatever it is, just remember that as long as your faith is strong God will see you through it. I find it makes it easier to deal with tough times in my life by reminding myself that life is but a series of trials. We are not meant to be totally happy in this life. I'm not saying that God doesn't want us to be happy, but we must go through trials and tribulations in order to earn our spot in His kingdom. These trials are meant to test our faith and it is in these times when you just have to turn to Him, put it in Gods hands and pray. Alone we are weak and helpless, but with God no enemy can stand against us. I know that everything will turn out for the best!

God, I just ask that you be with Jan tonight. Comfort her, allow the weight to be lifted from her spirit and give her the strength to get through this situation. We know that in our journey to find you, you will not put anything in our paths that we cannot overcome and that through you anything is possible. Please take her in your loving arms, take away her worries and guide her through this tough time. You are an awesome and powerful God! Amen.

FishinChick...here are two saying that help me when I am troubled with decision or in-decion.

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.
and...
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Well, from your thread it sounds like you will be talking to someone about a serious subject. All I can say is have patience and be understanding. Don't say something you will just regret later. This may not have anything to do with what you are dealing with, but I'm sure everything will work out just fine whatever it is.

jan, i dont know what you are going through tonight, but call me ANYTIME if you want to talk. you havent heard what i had to deal with last sunday yet, but i had to do some dealing myself. i prayed. then i prayed again. i asked for Him to lead me in whatever direction was His will. i asked Him to keep my mouth shut if thats what was needed, and to lead me with the right words and actions if that was what was His will.

jan, its a long story, and we can get into that on the phone or in person, but i can tell you that i could "feel" God beside me, and the outcome was incredible.

i know you, so i know you are already asking for His help, and things will turn out ok for you tonight. that being said, you have a prayer going up from me too.
