Three Days, 12 Cobia

Too bad they were all under the size limit. I took my ski out Friday evening, Saturday half day and Sunday half day. I departed my house in Poquoson Virginia and the worked the buoys in the York River and Baltimore channels of the Chesapeake Bay. I was casting live eels on a 7/0 hook, I averaged four fish between 28 and 34 inches each time. They were a blast to catch on the surface with spinning gear. I also fished around the third and fourth islands catching, sea bass, flounder and lots of oyster toads. I had to work half of each day but I still managed some great fishing time. Here are some pictures I took this weekend.

Great pics as usual Brian. Did you catch the Cobia in the Bay or offshore?
