Minn Kota SE Trolling Motor!

Just ordered a trolling motor for my boat. Got a bow mount Minn Kota SE 55lb 52" - super fired up! Can't wait to get it on the boat!

Anyone else have that model? Thoughts?

Minnkota makes a good motor just make sure u file the paperwork to minnkota i have busted 2 shafts but its a free replacment shaft so no worrys if u do.

The only problem with any Minn Kota I've ever had, is eventually the powder coating on the motor will get chipped/worn off where it sits on the base and will rust . It will get bigger and there is nothing I know that can prevent it except maybe taking it off the bow and putting it in the stern when running. No paint will stick to the iron housing except powder coating.
