Fished POC boggies over the weekend and caught this thing on live shrimp. What is it?

i throw alot of 3/4oz spoons and the spoons are almost as big as that fish and they still hit it, thats why i wont touch them. their bad enough to bite at something so big, their big enough to bit me,lmao

so,im gonna ask the dumb question. do they bite? can handling them make you sick or something? i don't like them cause they look crazy, like they mite kill me or something if if bites me.
