Harbor Freight sale plus 25% one item discount

If the coupon will attach there is a sweat deal on a HF 3200 watt generator on for ~290$ and there is 25% coupon off to use on some items. I have had hell on attaching items and spreadsheets to 2 cool. Jim D

There was 9 pages of deals from ramps, towing lights, to everything else on sale. Might get the coupon from the HF web site but this is for people signed up to get their emails. I attached just 3 pages.

You can not use the 25% off coupon on items that are already discounted (sale price). It is only valid on the full sales price of the item. Yes, most of the tools are definitely throw but they work for the intended purpose of guys like me that use a hammer drill (for example) once every 2 years and don't need a Milwalkee

And the fine print says you can't use the coupon on generators, anyway.

Lot of the stuff you see at HD, Lows, Norther, or HF is made in China or ? any more.

I have had good luck with a lot of their products. Some products are cr--. I have not worked construction since I got out of Dental school and used Craftsman back then when I used the tools everyday and wanted top end. Not sure that Craftsman is what it was 35 years ago.

Now with a farm up in Spicewood I use a lot of the HF tools because they are so cheap and I do not use them every day. 3/4 socket set for 34$ was a deal. Ratchet is not the best but the sockets and breakover work well when the tractor needs work. I have a couple of the small 8 gallon compressors and had no problems with them.

I own about 4 sets of tools between the house and the farm. I fig that most of the HF tools are made by or about the same quality as HD or Lowe's and a whole lost less expensive.

It is still a good way for a lot of the guys with out a lot of $ getting enough tools for the boat and truck.

I'll buy most tools from Harbor Freight (some are just too cheap feeling off the bat that I don't bother), if I use it enough to break it through normal wear and tear, then I needed a better one.

I have a reciprocating saw that I would have swore would have broken by now, but still works 5 years later. It's cost me about $5/year now.

craftsmen tools are not the same as before. only thing youre paying for is the exchange on broken tools. that pretty much goes for kobalt and husky though they a tad bit better in quality than hf.

i like harbor freight cause i can buy cheap sets for different locations. could get a truck toolbox but need the space for cargo.

It hits niche, I'm not gonna buy tools off the truck, I can't afford it. Plus, no one want the harbor freight tools, so they don't grow legs as fast...

Believe HF has a great warranty also. If it breaks, bring it back. I get stuff there alot.

Heck, for $12.00 anyone who tows a boat could use the detachable trailer lights as a backup for when the trailer lights go out at 5 in the morning on fishing day.

I have a number of Milwaukee tools. When the batteries failed after a coupe of years of virtually total non-use..(my fault, not theirs)...I just bought a HD 18 volt drill with ONE battery for less than just the battery on the Milwaukee.

That 18 volt ONE battery lasts way longer than anything I've owned before...some even with a two battery set-up.

If I was a pro and used "stuff" every day, it would be a different story. But I don't use the tools every day or even every week. HD is OK for me.

Milwaukee could bring out a HD level alternate selection of tools, but if they did, they'd probably wouldn't sell many more of the higher priced, better quality tools.

Rich

p.s. My biggest complaint with the cheap tools is the crappy drill chucks. They can't hold a small drill bit very well.
