Sure Wish I Understood Tides...

The wind has been down for over 24 hours, TS Debby is nowhere near us. Why are the tides still so bulled up, all along the Texas coast? I'd like to wade Texas City, but can't touch bottom off the Levee right now...

I bought some crab meat in Seabrook this morning and the water was way high.

Yeah, Eagle Point is over two feet above predicted right now. That's a lot, and no obvious reason why...

combination of last weeks super high tide, debby, equinox, and the continuity of the space time continuum... hehe... but seriously, it does have a lot to do with the above factors.
