Sunrise Lodge on Matagorda Bay Report
Grass beds and sand humps are heating up in West Bay for waders tossing topwaters and soft plastics. Our best colors have been Chicken on a Chain Bass Assassins and bone Super Spook Jrs. Patient drifters have caught fish in East Bay. By patient I mean the wind has been blowing early and dirtying the water, but has subsided throughout the morning and become streaky later in the morning. Our boats have been persistent and have been rewarded with solid catches.
We are wading and drifting this week and forecasts look good. Call us if you would like to get on the water.
