Plastic lure question.

Is it necessary to keep plastic lures like Chickenboy lures in a zip lock bag or can you rig them in advance on your rod and just hang them in the hook eye of the rod?

I know this is a simple question but I hae never used them before and didn't know if they would dry out or degrade pre-rigged.

Some you can some you can't. Some will melt some will dry up. Just give it a try. If you store your rods out of direct sunlight you should be able to do it! Don't leave a gulp on it will ruin your hook!!!

I like to keep mine in the bag until I'm ready to use them. (A/C is not required imho) Most have oil in the bag to keep them fresh.

X100 on the Gulp! Other plastics should be just fine to keep in the bags.

I would always keep my lures in dry sealed bag. Do not mix the colors in a bag. Some of my lures like the chartreuse one are injected with fish oil and other special ingredients but don't dry out.

Soon I will have 3 scented gels that you can rub on the lures for super extra attraction. The 3 scents are shrimp, crab and mullet. They will be on my website under the category Chicken Chit
