When do the tagged fish get put in the water?

I believe it's a couple days before the tournament starts, so any time now.

When you enter the Star do they send you something to prove you are in it or do you just show them your member card with the ID number?i signed up but havent gotten anything for the star?

You should get a wallet sized ID card with your name and member # that will say 2012 Texas Star Entrant

You will get a card but not by this weekend. I printed my e-mail confirmation to carry with me. Plus I have my membership # memorized.

1. Can I fish without my current membership card?
   Yes. If you are entered into the 2012 tournament and your membership is current, you are eligible to fish the tournament and do not have to show your card to weigh in a fish. We are happy to verify your eligibility in the STAR office. No weigh station will require proof of your entry at the time of weigh in.

And yeah, you'll eventually get your card, I had the same questions after recently signing up. Good luck to you!
