Plugged a limit of surf trout this morning on Surfside beach. Had to work very hard for them. Started at 6 am and caught my last fish at 12 noon. Water was glassy with some big rollers coming in but settled as the morning went on. Fished the second gut. Water was a little sandy but clear green water just outside the last bar. Fish were caught on mirrolures but most were caught on a mirrodyne xl....my favorite surf plug now.
