5/20 flag warning

I got the boys up and drove from Friendswood to Surfside. We got to the Beav... and my heart sank as I saw the big flag at 3/4 attention. Held out hope when I didn't see any whitecaps. But it was sloppy and loaded with weed at the beach. Fished from 6-615, then tried the channel side of the jetty for awhile, but that was a no-go.

Will now check the buoys before leaving at dark30.
