You never know what lurks around the rocks....
Caught at the POC Jetties on live shrimp this past Saturday. I have received several opinions on the actual species of grouper. Anyone else care to chime in?

Too bad it wasn't a little bigger, I was having visions of grouper sandwich....but let it swim away for another day.

We used to catch them at the air station in Tampa Bay. I always thought they were baby jewfish. Pardon me, Goliath Grouper.
