Shimano Chronarch CH100DS

I have heard alot of good things about this reel and am considering finding one if possible, but I have a couple of questions about them.

1. What gear ratios did they offer them in and which one was or is best for coastal work (Top Waters, Soft Plastics, etc.)?

2. Anything I should keep my eye on to keep it running smooth?

3. Can these be Super-Tuned and if so whats involved or who can do that for me?

4. Anywhere I can still pickup a couple?

5. Opininons on this reel?

They made a CH100D7 which is 7 to 1 ratio and a CH100D5 which is 5 to 1 ratio. The CH100Dx is a great reel. I wish they still made it. As for where to find it, I'm not sure. They quit making them many months ago and no online stores carry them anymore. I haven't seen any at physical stores in months. Ebay had alot of them for awhile, but the prices started getting rediculous and I don't think many have been showing up there anymore lately.

ch100d7 is my favorite reel. Real hard to find now. A close second would be my curado 200e7 followed by my garcia revo inshore...Search ebay and look for the best deal on that chronarch.

I love mine. I own the 200e series and the 50e series, but love the Chronarch.
