Tres Palacios Bay

Drove down the night before last to try to get some quick night fishing in. A buddy and I fished the public piers on the north end and arrived to find beautiful green water. With a minuscule wind from the ESE at 3 knots we couldn't help but stay till almost 1:30am. We caught 5 trout but only one keeper that we returned to the bay. This trout threw up huge glass minnows (4 ") on the pier. I have never seen glass minnows that size before.
