I've had my Wade-Aid for 12 years and it's still going strong. I've been thinking about replacing it with something new, for no other reason but to try something different, but can't commit to these new belts. I'd consider the hookset belt, I like all their other stuff.

I personally went WadeAid...it's super comfortable on the back, give a bit of floatation, and has plenty of tool storage for pliers, boga, small wade box, and a bottle of water.

Never had to deal with them honestly...I ordered over the website, and the belt came in the mail...that was our relationship...now it's over. If something happens to the belt I'll get a new one, it's lasted me almost two years as it is.

I sent mine back a couple of yrs ago, expecting it to be repaired/resewn...they sent me a new one! Maybe things have changed, but they went above and beyond for me.

is wade aid floatation good for super soft muddy bottoms cause i think it mite be dangerous to wear in strong currents.

Nah..the floatation isn't that strong. In a pinch it would be better than nothing, but not enough to offset your weight in mud.

I like my fish n hunt pro wade belt. I added another rod holder and can use either a single box or the double matching wade vest if i want to haul more lures. Its great IMO
