Port Mansfield 5-4 & 5-6, 2012

Fished Friday and Saturday with Skinny Water Adventures. 3 of us were with Trisha. We had a huge box of fish on Friday reds and trout all on top waters. I got two trout on Friday both 24". Bryant 3 reds in the 25" range. We all caught trout and reds. Jim was CPR'ing everything and let some nice fish to back.

Saturday. Wind change from SE to S. We still had a good box of fish, trout and reds. I got one 26" trout on top water and a 22" red and some dink trout.
Bryant got 2 more good reds and some trout. Jim was doing the CPR on his fish. My 26" was CPR'd.

Of course Trisha out fished us all and put on a clinc when the fishing was slow she was getting blow ups and catching fish when the rest of us were grinding with nothing to show for it.

My first time to Port Mansfield and what an introduction. Had a great time staying at the Whitley house. A very memorable trip.

Also got to ride on her new Haynie 23 cat. We came back in Friday over some good chop at 50 mph. Man that was a quick return trip. Saturday we came in from north of East Cut in 20 to 25 sustained winds with a quartering wind and that was a little wet but the boat handled it fine. She has a 225 Merc Optimax.
