Bolivar Pocket or East Bay

Has anyone wade fished the bolivar pocket or done any good at the mid bay reefs in east bay??? Me and my family rented a beach house on bolivar for this coming week and was wondering if anyone could give me the heads up on where the fish are?? Was mainly wondering if I would be better off wading the pocket or taking the boat out in the bay??
