Surfside late moring 5/2/2012
I haven;t been fishing for quite awhile so I thought I would give it a shot. Piles of logs are being picked up and put in dump trucks. Lots and lots of seaweed on the beach and in the water.
After a couple of casts there was so much weed that the tip of my surf rod came off!
I drove to the drum hole and fished a bit just to feel the bite. Only small fish caught and thrown back.
At least I ran the truck t charge the battery.
BTW the ice at Buccee's is 89 cents for 8 lbs (used to be 10). $1.49 for the big bag.
