As a group we only caught about a half dozen reds. I only caught one. Not sure where they were but that was all. The few we caught were mixed with trout.

From my experience out there, you have to target the reds to really get into them. We usually fish for them on the windy/rough points although they are sometimes mixed with the trout.

That where the other reds were caught, point of an island over shell.
