Mansfield Mauler inventor passes away

Bob Fuston, inventor of the Mansfield Mauler and long time Pt. Mansfield guide passed away. Hate it when such innovators leave us. RIP

That is very sad to hear.....I started using those mualers in the mid 80's or so and still do to this day. I always refered to them as Maulers and some people look at me like I'm lost......I dont know what else to call them.
They were a great invention and changed the way tons of people used plastics.
I know they did for me.
RIP Capt.

Great Outdoorsman

Bob Fuston, (The Red Bandana) was a great outdoorsman and passionate about fishing down South. I fished with him in Mansfield soon after he left the construction business. Lost my glasses and tackle box off his old Shallowsport. I will never forget how bad he put in on me with his "Mansfield Mauler" and after about his 10th fish and my none, I swichted to his famous clicker cork and have been a beleiver ever since. He was a great guy and contributed a lot to fishing. He's now in a much better place for sure. wos
