Free Kids Fishing Camp!!! Fishing's Future

Less than three weeks before the Family Fish Camp in The Woodlands! We added ten more openings for children to join in on the fun! Wil Sartain and Tanner Walker from the Sam Houston State Bass Fishing will be ready to teach advance skills for largemouth bass fishing. Naturally, what kids (ages 12-18) learn about fresh water tactics will help improve their skills for future saltwater fishing. Remember this is FREE! All the fishermen involved have many years of experience...if you feel comfortable with teaching kids how to cast please pm me or email at teamburns@hotmail.com

Here is the link to the Family Fish Camp:

Thanks to TTF and Pure Fishing helping to make this happen! Also, Tobin with troutsupport. He has taken the time discuss the planning part of this camp when he is very busy putting a redfish video together!

Henry, The Family Fish camp at Lake Texana State Park today was a fantastic event. Had some folks drive over from Houston and others come up from someplace way out west. Must have had close to 25 folks and everyone stated that today's camp was well worth the drive. This Camp was hosted by Fishing's Future Victoria Chapter directed by Master Angler Bradley Hauboldt who runs the warehouse for TTF.

On another note, since January 1, 2012 Fishing's Future has already taught more than 3,400 individuals something about fishing. Kids learn knots, they improve their casting accuracy, learn about safety, ethical angling, Catch Photo Release techniques etc. This happens because volunteers wish to share their knowledge. Just today as volunteer shared her excitement about watching a little female angler (age 7) cast a bait without her daddy's help. She was so excited and the volunteer was busting with the satisfaction of teaching her how to fish. more Family Fish Camps are scheduled and info can be found at www.fishingsfuture.org

Thanks T! Just about every volunteer has fished for at least thirty years...one world wide. Almost two-weeks away and we opened up some extra slots for the family fish camp. Fresh Water Tactics is still wide open, but the word will hit all the newspapers within the next ten days.
