Thur. 4-5-12 Left San Luis Pass County Park boat ramp at 1:00 PM. Half day trip. NW wind 5-10, FULL MOON CYCLE, water level still up. Took Vicki from Houston drift fishing with lirve shrimp under alameda type corks in 2-4 feet of water. Vicki had 3 REDFISH to 23 1/2 inches. We released small trout, small reds, black drum & Big Gafftops.
*Sunday 4-1-12 Took Steve and Diane on 1/2 day trip. We left SLP county park boat ramp at 7:30 AM. Wind SW10-15, Tide LEVEL down.
The wind was my enemy. We could go to 4-5 West bay fishing location but didn't want to ride back to the ramp with customers, going into a SW wind of 15 mph in big unprotected open water. So we fished at Drum bay then Christmas bay. Two Trout & a RedFish at Drum bay with a 22 inch RedFish at Xmas bay.
