Hello Fellow Fly Fishers and Friends,
Fly rods, original and print artwork, fly tying benches, fly-fishing trips all along the Texas Gulf Coast, in the Texas Hill Country, and around Texas will be among the items on the block at the annual auction of the Texas Flyfishers of Houston on Saturday, April 14.
The event will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Bethany Christian Church, 3223 Westheimer, Houston TX. between Buffalo Speedway and Kirby, and just across the street east of Lamar High School (Mapquest link ->
http://mapq.st/IzjPr5). Admission is free. Lunch is free for everyone with a bidder's card. Raffle tickets are $5.

-Lunch starts at 11:30
-The live auction featuring our auctioneer Corey Rich, runs from noon until it's all sold (usually around 1:15)
-The silent auction, which includes vendor and club member donations, runs throughout the event and closes down after the raffle drawing.
-At 1:30, the raffle item will be drawn.
Proceeds support the group’s educational and conservation projects, which include a basic fly fishing academy, beginning and intermediate fly tying courses, fly rod building courses, Trout in the Classroom, and monthly freshwater and saltwater outings. These activities are open to members and the general public alike.
