SS 4-08-12 gulf report and King Tut

I went to a beach wedding Sunday of a camper at the boy's wilderness camp I worked at in my 20s.
The young man has the same birthday , Ap[ril 15th ten years younger than me.
The wedding was fine we rolled up just as they said I do and kissed. Missed all of that pomp and stuff, whew!
Of course then I was at the beach and just happened to bring a rod to pier fish with.
I hit the 61st pier and it was crowded and the water was muddy.
I flung some cocahno minnows up and down the lights until I found some action. I and caught 10 big sand trout I gave the fellow next to me.
It was fishing. Today we went to the King Tut exhibit at the Museum of Fine Art. Cool stuff from a long time ago.
I'm still sad about the crab feast

I'd wondered why the mighty red fin was still in her stall Saturday. Sounds like a good weekend regardless though!

I did go for a spin in the MRF today and caught 5 nice stripers. Then I trolled to see if the white bass were still on and they were biting pretty good too.
I left the camera at home and had to use the phone.
The stripers were 22" to 25" and in great shape.
