Maniac Mullet in the surf

I am about to start doing some wading and I'm trying to figure out some more lures to get. I know to throw spoons, but I am thinking about Maniac Mullet also. I already have the chartreuse over pearl and pink ones in the fast sink. I was also thinking about the plum/chartreuse and glowtreuse. Would these be good colors for surf, and if so, should I go fast sink or slow sink?
I will be especially be hitting the surf hard the first week in June and want to be stocked up for that too.

I have used the Chartreuse and pink. They work good when working bait pods in the surf. Dont know about the other colors, but its worth a shot. I like the slow sink myself. May be a preference thing. I have also had good luck on DOA shrimp in the surf.

the dark colors will be great in the surf when it's a little extra sandy. that lure should work anywhere.
