Jugs and trot lines

For jug fishing does the jug have to be white? Also for trot lines does marker buoy have to b white or can you use a plastic milk jug or two liter bottle?

Jug lines white unless you are commercial fishing then Orange. It don't matter on trotlines it just has to be tagged no bouy required.
