Question Fort Anahuac?

Has anyone had any luck fishing the little point at Fort Anahuac either from the bank or wading?

Thanks coolcj63. Have fished off the concrete pieces a few times and have never done much good. I'm thinking about wading on the north side and see what happens.

It really depends on the time of year, how much water flow and what specie you are going after. You can go there and catch high fin freshwater blue catfish. In the summer when the river isn't flowing, you can catch flounder, trout and reds.

Just my experience.

Has anybody fished under the lights on the lighted pier? Since my wife can't get out in the sun, it looked like someplace she might be able to fish at night.
