text spammers

last month i get a text from a spammer,, something about a $1000 walmart gift card ,just deleted it, during the night i get one for apple looking for people to test a ipad3, both came from some kinda # that shows +12019129261,,, how can i figure out what/where/who is sending and or stop them, every text i receive or send cost me money

sent at&t a email about it, i would almost be willing to bet their soultion is to buy some kinda bs protection from them for an extra 5 buks a month, they probably leak the numbers to spammers themselves or someone hacking etc

Google the phone number. What you posted above has too many digits though.

I always text reply "go f..k yourself" to these text. I just got a new one a few minutes ago from ' Test&Keep Unreleased iphone5. Go to http//iaplletestandkeep.com'. The phone number is 267-357-1712. Thnk I'll google as TexasT suggested.

other than add to the number of texts you produce per month. I have unlimited texts so I don't care but I think these texts are generated automatically and your reply doesn't do squat.
