Colorado City/ JB Thomas

Went to JB Thomas this morning and attempted to fish for crappie/bass with no luck. Lake was horribly low but there were signs of activity with baitfish jumping all over. Didn't see a single person land a fish. After lunch drove out to Lake Colorado City. Absolutely no signs of life. TPWD was generous when they said the fish population was severly damaged due to the golden algae bloom. I think it was completely wiped out. No baitfish, perch, splashes, nada. In other words don't waste your time fishing. I'll make sure to bring my golf clubs next time.
