interesting day on the water

well it was a bit windy this morning but we loaded up the yaks and headed out to the seabrook flats anyway. trolled around, caught a red and rather large blue crab. just about ready to head in for a work break, then i find a paddle, and a pair of shoes, then a kayak... but no kayaker. brand new yak, wal mart special type. I saw the guy out there, then he was nowhere but all his stuff is randomly floating around. then a bystander tells me what happens... guess he tipped over losing all his gear and such, then just leaves it all and drives off with his girl saying screw this.
anyone need a kayak?

Is this the fishing equivalent of throwing your golf clubs in the pond after a bad shot! Wow, I've been bucked out of a yak before, but it didn't make me mad enough to walk home! LOL

I tell you what though, after getting bucked out in early March with waders on...whooeee I was hot! My rods were only 3' down, but the wind was howling and pushing my capsized yak away from...the incident....ran after it grabbed it and tried to get back to the original spot. Waders full up to may ankles in water, and the rest of me soaked to the bone.

The only thing left in my yak was the net, so I grabbed it and started "fishing" for my gear. Mind you I'm in three stinkin feet of water and I can't find my rods! Finally, after 45 minutes and almost giving up...the net finds the rods, they're crossed so I find both of them in one go.

Even that doesn't make me walk away from fishin!! When back to the truck grabbed some new clothes and went back to it!
