Texas Saltwater Fishing Magazine
TSFM is still one of the best buys out there if you are not familiar with it. Lot of people like the hard copy but the on line version does not cost much more than some of the new baits that people are excited about.
Lot of great reading in the magazine.
The monthly solunar tables seems to be the most accurate out there. EJ explained how he and McBride came up with the idea last year on 2cool. (About the only thing needed might be to print moon over and under numbers with the monthly graph.)
I personally like the archives where you can go back and read the different articles over the last couple of years esp on days when you cannot fish. A world of information sits in them if you are a registered member.
The new electronic frame work for the mag is a lot easier to read and print when needed. The only thing now that I see is the archives only go back thru January 09 and you can no longer view the earlier years that used to be available. I used to refer people to the older articles, Baumann had a great monthly column, Smeche's article on painting and refinishing baits was great, some of McBride's articles are gone too , single hooks, and many of Jay Watkins "how to" articles and articles from when EJ had the guides offer "tips and tricks" each month.
Has anyone talked with EJ to see if and when the older magazine archives can be viewed again with the new system? Trying to access an old article that is not available.
