Tent Camping/Surfside Beach

Are there any spots to camp on the beach in Surfside? If so, where do you recommend? We are planning a guys weekend and are going to leave the travel trailer at home. Thanks in advance.

I'd recommend down the beach, east of Stanek Road - it's outside the city limits, no parking sticker required and the beach is wider there.

I don't know if Surfside even allows tent camping within the city (village) limits.
