What is the slowest that your boat will plane?
Curious what the slowest speed your boat will plane easing across the shallow flats looking for bait before daylight or looking at the water changes back on these flats.
I know that my BC has to run a little little faster to stay on plane ~15-17 at most of the jp settings. In most of the shallow water you sure do not want to stall out and try to jump in some of those areas.
What is your slowest plane speed for easing around?

SCB Stingray can plane at about 17.5 mph but that is on the edge, at 20 mph it's much more level and easier to drive.

that's sweet, I wish we could plane that slow, at that speed you can almost hop in the boat while it's still moving haha. I had a buddy with an Attack a Flat and that thing could run in spit.

Normally I'll sell my boat after one year, two at the most, I've had this one since '08 and I'm sure I'm going to keep it awhile. I mostly fish POC and it works pretty good for there. Frank

Depending on fuel and passengers - about 15 unloaded, 18 loaded.

When I had my Flats Cat it took 13 mph, but I could run over the whole boat and it would hold steady, I probably could have sat on the front deck and made a sammich!
The Ghost is not too far off of that I would imagine, you would not want to lag down to much over some of the stuff I run over.

9MPH on my 14.5 Cat. 11MPH and it runs a little better (little to no bow-rise). Considering adding trim tabs, but I don't really feel that they are completely necessary on my rig if you have the weight balanced right.
