Biscuits, Biscuits, Buiscits..............

Who has a great buiscit recipe?
I have 9 adults and 2 kids for the up coming holiday and need a kick butt recipe. Any takers?

Here are some I use.....


Bannock
11/2 cups of flour
1/2 tablespoon baking soda
1/2 tablespoon salt
3/4 cup of water

Simply mix the dry ingredients thoroughly, then add the water. Knead until all lumps and dry spots have disappeared. Form into a patty and place in a hot, greased frying pan. Fry until it is cooked through

Red Lobster Chedder Bay Biscuits.......

  • 2 cups bisquick mix
  • 2/3 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
Directions:
  1. Heat oven to 450.
  2. Combine Bisquick, milk, and cheddar cheese.
  3. Stir together.
  4. Spoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  6. In a small sauce pan combine butter, garlic powder and old bay seasoning.
  7. Heat until butter is melted.
  8. Spoon butter mixture over hot biscuits.
  9. Eat em' up!
  10. They are YUMMY!
