Headed out of Galvez with Outcast & Kevin A to find decient conditions....
Hit a few rigs and the snapper were very aggressive, hitting anything and everything. We threw quite a few snapper back that could have been keepers but were looking for nicer fish which we found....
Amoungst the snapper we landed 2 baby ling (32 & 36") and a nice sized smac. Then we decided to head over to a few wrecks to see what we could pull up. On the way we passed over a red blob on the sonar and circled back around. I dropped first and was bowed up as soon as I hit bottom. Kevin and Brice drop down and get bowed too. After a very strong fight Brice manages to pull these two guys up....
It was neat seeing a pod of reds that far offshore but we all had our fun with them (caught about 7-9 fish..all released) and continued on to our next desination. Circle around and drop immediately hooking up. While fishing this little guy landed on the boat for a rest....
We continued to fish and pulled a few more decient snaps up and called it a day.
