Deathwatch by boat from Freeport

Got to take some people by boat to eat from surside marina. Not real far like Sargent or Galveston or something. Where are there some decent on the water resturants?

I would go to Sting Rae's in Sargent. They are right next to the draw bridge and the food and atmosphere are great.

Sting Rae's in Sargent is OK. If you're really wanting to impress them, go to Willie G's in Galveston. (Not Fisherman's Wharf) You can pull right up to the dock. The shrimp cabo & creamed spinach are my favorites.

Not sure I'd wanna do that this weekend, that's just me.
Either way I think your in for a long boat ride, not a lot of options out of Surfside.

Stingrays in Sargent!

Call them first and talk to Carla Ray- the owner, they usually have live entertainment (free) on the patio and their food and service is darn good! you can pull your boat up and tie off right of the ICW.

I've been told that 2J's on the San Bernard River has new owners, haven't been there myself, but heard that it was pretty good.
