Work at home jobs.

My oldest daughter has been battling an illness the last year and is a homebound student right now. The wife is a teacher but is probably going to have to quit and wondering if anyone or a spouse that works at home that might give a direction to look. She has plenty of admin. skills and is not really comfortable with sales. Thanks!

I know of a couple ladies that do transcriptions at home, not sure how they started but it seems to be good for them. They're always busy.

Sorry to hear about your daughter's illness.

Try www.clarkhoward.com. He is a consumer advocate guy. On the radio locally here in the afternoons. 650AM I think.

He has a link to legitimate home based opportunities. The one I recall is you act as a "call center" for companies.

Remember, if they ask for money up front, it is probably a scam.

Take care.

Right, I heard of people doing Medical transcriptions (if that's what you call it) at home. I heard it pays pretty good.

I have a friend who does accounting work from home. She has several clients and travels to their business every 90 days to collect paperwork and drop off paperwork. Years ago I ran an answering service out of my home. I had the local cable co., two dentists, a vet and a few other businesses that transferred their calls when they closed to a line at my house. It was great except when there were cable outages.

There are a lot of universities and high schools moving classes to on-line education. Have try HISD, U of H, etc. Both teachers and students are at home.
