New personal best....
Well, its taken me 4 years to beat my wife. Her first saltwater fishing excursion netted her a 26 1/2 trout. For several more years my personal best was 26 1/4. I cant tell you how many times I have taken friends to spots that I fish regularly, and they have caught 27", 28", 29" Trout and better. I guess it just wasn't my time. Saturday I finally beat the wife (thank god). I picked up a 27" that went 6.7lbs fishing Oso Bay. I tried everything I could to CPR, but she was gill hooked and did not respond. Had a good day and caught several fish to 24".
