Spec-tacular surfside Friday morning
On Friday, hit the beach near the cell tower about 6:00 and had my limit by 9:00. Would have limited much ealier but the waves were very sporty which slowed operations. Once, a large swell knocked me off my feet as I was trying to string a fish (fish got to swim away). All fish were 16-18 inches. Using shrimp, the bite was very aggressive from 6-8 but stayed steady until I left at 11:00. Water was in great shape, even with the large swells and a light SW wind. Along with the trout I caught several smacks and a black-tip.
Saw that someone tore out "stone-henge". The beach looks really odd with the long time landmark gone.
