flounder More Flounder?

It seems to me that I have been reading more reports with people catching flounder than in recent years. Am I the only one to notice this?

I've actually caught a few on recent trips with rod and reel, and I can't remember the last time I was able to catch flounder.

Have y'all noticed an increase in flounder numbers this year, or is it just me?

Same here. Get one or 2 and lose a few every time out. They seem to find corky fatboys irresistible.

Most of the ones that I caught this year were just under 14", most 11-13".

Good to see, hopefully come fall they'll be eating size.

Haven't had a throwback yet! Biggest was 18". Understand these are all males. Big girls get here a lil later.

If they are 14" or greater, they are females. Males seldom exceed 13 1/2 inches.
