Heading down there Friday morning, will be staying near the Copano Causeway, so will put in there with the boat. Will be tough to get around with the winds, hopefully they lay some this weekend. Has anybody heard how the fishing is around there recently?
It could've all changed by now, but I just got back from four days on Copano and though it was windy, at times, it was also fairly calm at times. Some mornings it was way too windy to even think about going out, but by noon, or a bit later, the wind layed down till after dusk. Other days it was just the reverse. And, trout were good on live shrimp, free-lined, over shell reefs the whole time. Hardheads and gafftops were good over mud, just in case you care, MudMann.
